Back at my great-aunt Armin's farm to paint the composition I sketched out earlier. I felt that the composition warranted a larger canvas, which meant that it took longer to paint. Because of the changing shadows, I couldn't paint it all in one sitting, so I visited at the same time of day for a few days.
