Serendipity is the name of a beach house at Ocean Isle Beach, NC that belongs to my nephew-in-law's parents (say that three times real fast). His mother is pictured below and she graciously let me paint from the back balcony for a couple of days. This body of water is referred to as a creek and it leads to the Intracoastal Waterway.
