You can thank one of my students, Lynette for the use of her colorful bowl. It's a bowl that inspired not only the addition of lemons and a lime, but also the playful use of complimentary colors. I painted the violet cloth using my tube of ultra-expensive cobalt violet because it matched the color of the still life's cloth perfectly.
